My rule of thumb when it comes to snacks during the day is that it must be a) satisfying, b) nutrient dense, and c) tasty! Here is one of my go-to snacks I rely on mid-afternoon, just when I think I need to eat a fun size candy bar from the office break room I whip out this little concoction consisting of Greek Yogurt, Almond Butter, Dark Chocolate and Figs!

-1 c. plain 2% Greek Yogurt (I really like Kirkland brand)
-1 T. almond butter (or natural peanut butter)
-Pinch of dark chocolate chips
-2 figs, diced (or any other dried fruit)
Pretty simple…mix the almond butter into the Greek yogurt, sprinkle with chocolate ships and dried fruit
